Rudranath Temple ( Panch Jyotirlinga )

                                 
Rudranath is face part of lord shiv (Rudra). Rudranath is fourth Kedar in Panch Kedar of Uttarakhand .This is locate near Gopeshwar (Mandal Village) in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand.The Rudranath temple is believed to be established by the pandavas.Rudranath is a natural rock temple which is situated within a dense forest of Rhododendron dwarfs and Alpine pastures. Rudranath temple provides splendid view of Hathi Parvat,Nandadevi, NandaGhunti, Trishuli and many other Himalayas mountain rang.Rudranath Temple encircled by numbers of holy Kunds (Natural source of ground water which is covered by stone wall not more deep but Kunds fullfil with water always) near Rudranath temple namely Suryakund, Chandrakund, Tarakund and lot Small – Small other Kund.


The doli (stretcher build by wood) of lord Rudranth lives in Goreshwar temple for six month in winter session. The Baitarini(Baitrini is a river near Rudranath Temple,People belive this river come from heven ) , the divine river flows pass behind the temple. Gopeshwar  temple open for visit all the year. Here first the Vandevi is worshipped. The local belief is that Vandevi protects the all area whole year. The priests at the Rudranath temple are Bhatt’s and towards of Gopeshwar village.
